Frequently Asked Questions

What are you doing in light of the COVID Pandemic?

Client visits are staggered to allow thorough cleaning and sanitizing between sessions. A UV light source (254nm) is used to help sanitize the room. Sessions are scheduled individually, so you will not interact with anyone else during your visit. Fresh air is available by opening the glass sliding doors of the Studio which open up to the Boulder Creek. Masks are available if you do not have one. Other options include having sessions outside or at your home for an additional cost.

Do you accept Insurance?

Matt does not contract with insurance companies but will provide a superbill that you can use to get reimbursed through your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). If you are working with a physician, often the doctor will write a script that can be submitted to your insurance for approval and coverage before your session with Matt.

what should I wear during a session?

Recommended attire includes comfortable clothing, tights, leggings, or athletic wear.

what are your FACILITIES like?

Matt’s studio is a private room adjoined to the Rocky Mountain Tennis Club’s main office. The room has full length, glass sliding doors which open up to the gentle sounds of the Boulder Creek and trees rustling along its banks. There is a bathroom in the studio if you need to change before or after your session.

How can i continue to heal after the session?

Depending upon your unique situation, Matt often prescribes corrective home exercises to continue the progress that was achieved during your session. This can include strength exercises, mobility exercises, or suggestions on how to tape a specific area of concern. Also, this could include the rental of Normatech Boots, Armaid, BStrong cuffs, and other recovery tools.

How often do i need to be treated?

Treatment frequency usually depends upon the issue each client has and whether it is a chronic injury or a throbbing headache. Some clients find just one session gives them the relief they desire while others need multiple sessions, and still others choose pro-active maintenance and see Matt on a frequent basis. Matt often has same-day and weekend appointments available in order to best meet his clients’ busy schedules.
